How it Works

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) of 1970 safeguards the consumer’s rights to fair, accurate and private personal information being reported by creditors and others to the credit bureaus. Therefore, the FCRA also gives consumers the right to challenge information that is inaccurate or incomplete in their credit report. If, upon investigation, the credit bureaus find that the information is indeed inaccurate, they are obligated to remove all such information from the individual’s credit report.

However, some credit bureaus might make the simple process unnecessarily complex. This is where CreditXS comes in. We understand that creditors charge higher interest rates and landlords refuse to give their properties on rent to people with a poor credit rating. Our experience arms us with strategies and skills to quickly bring about the needed changes in a person’s credit report.

What We Do

  1. Access the credit reports – When you sign up with us, the first thing we do is obtain your credit reports from the 3 primary credit bureaus, Trans Union, Experian and Equifax.
  2. Provide legal aid – Once we analyze the credit reports, we can identify all the areas that are being adversely affected by your credit score. We help and support you through our legal experts to prepare and deliver the required legal challenges and disputes in case of inaccuracies and/or incomplete information.
  3. Analyze the credit score – We not only give you information on the factors that are negatively affecting your credit score, we also offer guidance on how the credit score can be improved in the shortest possible time frame. We also help you monitor your score on a regular basis.
  4. Follow up – Even after your credit score has been restored, we continue with our follow up. So, please forward us any creditor communication that you might receive.

All you need to do is sign up for our services using the online form on the Sign Up page. A CreditXS representative will get back to you within 24 hours of your signing up with us.
